Where can I buy the Pennzoil syncromesh synthetic 30 wt trans oil? I went to Autozone and asked them about it. They looked at me as if I was an Eskimo from the desert. They never heard of it but did try to sell me several other different brands. I went back to the desert. In TDR May/June/July, page 41 and pg 144 two different writers talk about this oil . Can anyone tell me where to get it??

I believe You are looking for the replacement gear oil for the NV-5600, 6-speed trans. It is Pennzoil part # 3501. It comes in a yellow bottle and I bought it at Autozone for $4. 99/bottle. It says on the bottle that it meets specification MS-9224 for Chrysler Part # 4874464. If You can't find it You might call Penzoil at 1-800-468-6457. I got this information from KLenger, on this site. He is very helpful with information, here. You will need a 17mm allen wrench or drain plug socket. I got one at Autozone made by Powerbuilt, VW,BMW, Porsche Drain Plug, part # 648438, for a couple of bucks. It fits a 3/8 drive ratchet. Hope this helps. Joe Fihn.
