Transmission oil

My 03 has the 6 speed manual transmission. All I can get out of my dealer is the Mopar Part number pertaining to the Tansnmission oil.

Does anybody know if this is a special transmission fluid as I have been told by the dealer or does it have a viscosity wt. like most lube oils.

What is the eqivalent in everyday Mechanic language?

Pennzoil Synchromesh

The Pennzoil synchromesh has the same part #(4874464) and Chrysler's spec (MS-9224) as the 03 owners manual requires for your 6 speed. You can purchase it at Auto zone. It's the same stuff, different label. Viscosities for this lube are comparable to 5W-30 motor oil or 70W-80 gear oil.
