Symptoms – Shift pattern form 1-2 seams to have dropped to 12-14 miles per hour from 18-19 miles. Additionally, when I shift back and forth from N to D the transmission engages and there is a second bump, which feels almost identical to the trans engaging. When I put it in 1manually RPM tend to jump before taking off.

Note I had the trans rebuild 12 months ago and have taken it back to the shop. They indicate they have been through the trans two or three times and it is perfect, stating the double bump reference earlier is not a transmission problem.

Thank in advance for your thoughts.

Given where you live, call Bill at DTT 866-504-4002. Then get ready to "make the drive". I by passed all the intermediate steps of VB etc etc, and at 30K on a perfectly good shock transmission, I had 'my' transmission rebuilt to full DTT, 89H TC and Billet input and 3rd gear cage, so I could install an exhaust brake. Had to leave it for a few days. If you want to exchange, I think they can do it while you wait and get educated. SNOKING

When I checked the fluid I had driven the truck several miles, however, I'm not sure what the temp was, probably less than the gauge would read, 100D. It was in neutral when I checked it.

Any ideas?? I need information to go back to the transmission shop with, that is if it's truly a transmission problem.

Main Issue - when I put the truck in D from N or P I feel the transmission engage however there is a second bump as well. Could this be a different part of the driveline as the transmission shop is claiming??

Any help would be appreciated?
