Archived transmission out, need advise

I recently bought a supposed complete package to convert my auto 727 in my 91. 5 CTD 4x4. The kit was not even close and I sent it back after the shop tried to hassle more money out of me. So now the problem is my truck is down, I have the money, what should I do?



I wanted the overdrive of the NV4500 and the one to one for exhaust brakes. Is there a simpler method in getting these two items such as another newer auto transmission? Or is it just a wasted cause and rebuild the 727? Help... . anyone.....
