Transmission pan gasket 48RE

My '05 with 95K miles is about to get it's 4th transmission fluid change. Should I consider going ahead and replacing the gasket on the stock OEM pan as preventive maintenance?

They are reusable.

Just don't overtorque the bolts

Yes, I've always know they were reusable, just didn't know how many times before they start to deteriorate.

I always use a torque wrench and tighten to specs. I adjusted the bands last time and was a little apprehensive since I'm certainly no mechanic. It went well, and I guess I did OK as I've gone 30K miles and the transmission is still getting power to rear wheels with no abnormal results.
