Does anyone near Pittsburgh (PA) know a good welder that can weld a piece of steel on to my pan so I can mount my sensor for the temp gauge?

One tip... Make sure you check where you place the sensor hole so it won't interfere with any of the internals. Also try to place it in an area that is protected so anything that you might run over or thru won't hook the sensor or its wiring. I put a small piece of steel in my Dads motorhome trans pan for a drain plug and I just brazed it myself. Chris

You'll get better readings.....

If you replace the line on the transmission with the factory one that has a built in port. That's where you get the hottest reading from. the pan has mixed with cooled fluid and isn't the best place for a temp probe.
