Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Do the test procedures outlined in the factory service manual for transmission pressure tests apply to diesel engines as far as the RPM's etc? My transmission is shifting early and rough between 1st and 2nd. Reverse was slipping until I adjusted the band (for the 2nd time in 8000 miles). There is probably more problems but the dealer has less of a clue than I do. Last time I was there I was reading out of the service manual to the mechanic hooking up the pressure gauge. He had never done the test before and he was their transmission guy. HELP!! 98 12v 47 RE 4 x 4
