Archived transmission problem

I need some advice. I had a post about a noise in my driveline. . it would make a loud clunck whenever the clutch was released. Ckecked and replaced all the rear u-joints and carrier bearing. Well it didn't help and now the truck is disabled. Last night while driving the transmission or something went out. None of the gears would do anything but make a slight grinding noise. When you shift into each gear it sounds like the gears are intact. . not hard to shift. What should I be looking at... the transfer case or the transmission? I've read that some people have broke the center out of the clutch and others snapped something in the transfer case. Any way to narrow it down to just one thing? Any help would be great.

You may have ripped the center of the clutch out. It usually makes a grinding noise when in gear-foot off of the clutch.
