Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) transmission Question

Hi kids I have a question! I have a transmission out of a 1995 3/4 ton Dodge 4X4 with a Cummins. I drive a 1995 1 ton Dodge 4X4 with a Cummins. Both trannies are automatics, Are they the same transmission? I want to rebuild the one I have and then just swap it out with the one in my truck now.

both trucks have a 47rh trans. you could swap the trans.
