Since it's getting colder(40's) when I back out of my driveway(200 ft) the truck goes into reverse fine(auto trans). then I put it in gear to go forward to pick up my paper out of the box it shifts into forward normally, but when I stop at the box and try to move forward it sort of pops out of gear. If I wait a few seconds everthing is normal and I can drive the rest of the day without a problem. The transmission works fine pulling. Could that be the drainback valve. The transmission was rebuilt at 78,000 miles.

? Maybe it's the linkage - I have to jiggle mine sometimes in Park to be able to turn the key off. Does the shift lever move when it pops out of gear?
