Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I am currently looking for a 1994-1998 12 valve. I've noticed that some ads say that a truck is heavy duty (HD) and others talk about a 4. 10 rear end. I believe that you can also get a 3. 54 rear end. Are there transmission/rear end options for 2nd generation Dodges? What makes a truck "HD"? How does the transmission/rear end affect fuel economy?
Also, I'm leaning toward getting an extended cab truck. Do any of you have strong feelings about standard cab vs. extended cab? That extra storage space looks pretty good to me. Any advice regarding your likes or dislikes in a Dodge truck would be appreciated.
