looking to buy used aftermartket TQ converter and valve body, Perferaly someone that is changing brands or changing to a 5-speed.



I heard DTT will not sell just a converter and valve body, it that true.

It is best to call them and ask.

I don't think that I know anyone who would take a good converter out of a truck to sell it. Only those who would remove a slipping or defective one.

Mwilt. . good luck getting any good info on auto transmission stuff, other than "call DTT or ATS". . too many ppl dont relate to those of us that have to pinch pennys,and I know, do it right the first time... but I for one cant pull $3000 out of a certain place..... So I have heard that 'TCS performance' makes the converters for DTT, but I dont know that for sure. so anyway I will stop raving for now...

When I first called ATS, they worked with me on my budget. However, after I got the "bombing bug" I put the rest on Plastic! Best thing I ever did. But I would definitely call them and ask.



And YES ATS will sell just the TC and VB, unlike other Performance Trans. places. If the rest of your trans is in good shape, and you are not making huge HP, you don't need to get the whole trans up-graded.

Now guys i know both DTT and ATS web sites and phone numbers. I don't want you guys to start a brand war on this post. I know both are great transmission builders with two different ways of doing things. And they both are right in their thinking so just chill
