Diprocol gauges.... issues???

fuel additives.....again

Hi guys, I am about to head out on a road trip and was wondering which service everyone prefers more. I need to get my 93 and my wife's jeep transmissions serviced. I can only afford one service now either the flush or filter service. The dodge dealer recommends the flush and it is cheaper too. What do you guys think?

On my vehicles I like to change the filter at least once. I do that around 50k miles. Then I do a powerflush every 50k miles. Every 10k miles I simply vacuum the transmission fluid from the pan to keep it fresh. Dogde has over 180k and no problems. It does do it's share of towing. My mechanic friend says if your transmission filter gets clogged it's time for a rebuild. I have had to rebuild a transmission.
