transmission slipping

Where is a good place to get "Quality" trannsmision parts in the Atlanta area?

Or am I better off having them shipped in from Suncoast, or one of the other diesel trany shops?

I've got a VB in it already just need good clutches and bands.



Anyone in ATL got a 2nd gen transmission they want to part with?

Well, at least I found the leak.

The lines that used to go to the block mounted cooler rubbed against each other and wore a hole in one of the lines and just about through the other.

Atlanta transmission parts

Southern Gear and I am not where I can get you the number. They are out toward Marietta. I bought getrag parts from them and was treated well. Don''t know if they have automatic parts but I think they do. .



Sun Coast seems to know their stuff. You could do a search and find what the right stuff is here I think.
