Need advice on best location for transmission temperature gauge sender. 2006 auto w/ tow package. Kudos to Andy at Geno's Garage. Great customer service!!!!

Good subject, I installed mine using the replacment line from MASS Diesel. It installs the sender to read oil temp prior to the oil circulating thru the cooler. The install was straight fwd and it tells me the hottest level of the oil when it's circulating. The trans experts will have a better break down of oil flow and such but buying a new deep pan with the plug in it was not my desire at this time. It works for me --no leaks  -----RJ

From everything I've read agrees with Riverside Joe.
