transmission temp sencor

I just ordered the fitting from Jannetty racing to installe my transmission temp prob in the outlet line. Question! How much fluid will I losse when I take the line loose. Thanks for any help.

Sam, I don't know about just removing one line but when I installed the new style lines it seems like I lost about 4 quarts. I disconnected the lines from the transmission and it seemed like it would never stop coming out. I don't know the capacity of the cooler but it's quite a bit. Plus I'm sure I had drainback into the transmission since it had been sitting for several days before I did the job. Hopefully with just one line opened up it won't be as bad but I'd have plenty of fluid on hand just in case.
