I ordered the cooler line kit from Jannetty for the transmission senser. I know it goes on the output line to the cooler, but which line is it on the transmission? Also do you have to remove a piece of the line or just cut it and insert the adapter? I've had a lot of questions answered lately thanks to everyone.

the hot line is on the drivers side of the transmission.



Be ready for a mess when you cut the line

It will be he vertical line going up to the "tank" cooler. When i install them i cut the line in place on the truck, you just cut out a piece the distance between the fittings so everything fits the same. Have a plastic drop cloth laid out on your driveway when you do it.

I have just recently installed a temperature sensor in this line and chose to remove the line. Although, I have Ted's adapter I elected to go a different route, but that's another story.



On the R/H (passenger's) side of the engine is the first of two transmission oil coolers. The line located closest to the firewall is the one you want.
