What kind of transmission temps should you see with an 01 auto and 410s running empty on the interstate in 40* weather?

Running empty in cooler weather such as 40 degrees I see less than 140 degrees on the temp gauge and my sending unit is located in the hot line comeing out of the transmission.

Here is a comparison to ronsram1999.

At around 40 degrees outside temp. mine runs 125 to 130 degrees and the senser is on the dipstick.

Mine runs from 100-120 in the hot line at 40 degrees cruising down the highway in lockup.

On the highway at 55mph and 45 deg mine was about 105 deg in the pan. Locked-up in OD with GV on.
