transmission to transfer case

want to attach a nv5600 4wd transmission to a gm 205 transfer and have front driveshaft on driver's side. This my first time posting. All help appreciated

if you get the newer GM t-case it'll bolt up, the circle 6 bolt pattern. but i'm not sure about the shaft.. maybe a call to advanced adapters.

Have had this old (41) Dodge truck, 4wd with all real good parts-except for a gas engine. Just picked up a complete 98 12 valve donor truck - pretty much stock 3500 except the old guy (my age) put a nv5600 trans in. My plan was to us my tc and try to make everything work. A friend of mine thought maybe converting the trans to 2wd tailshaft & converting to a divorced case. There seems to be room. I am only RICH in name & cannot keep things alone. I appreciate your idea & will consider. Still working at almost 74 - but only 1/2 days (12hours), so if I don't reply fast that is why.

To my knowledge GM never made a 205 T case for the drivers side drop ,But ford does , check out advance adapters for the application guide . but it will bolt up with the correct coupler

Original post and question not accurate.
Have a dodge nv5600 4wd trans (1 3/8 inch input shaft)
want to hook a gm np205 to it.(need drop on PASS SIDE). Advance adapters has a kit to mate a nv4500 case to np205.
My question is will this work my nv5600 4wd trans?. Talking to advance adapters says that IT MIGHT WORK. If there is a problem it would be in shifting the TC. This tc is cast iron with a circular 6 bolt pattern out of a 80's era Chevrolet 1ton truck. Thanks for all help in advance!

Yes it will work I have a similar set up with a nv 4500 and GM t case look up Moonshine mafia they have a kit I used they are on e bay too. Also Off road design I thing has a similar kit too

Thank You for info. No difference between the nv 4500 & nv5600 trans i guess.

Not on the out put shaft unless you have a non Dodge nv4500 as it could be a different spline count
