Attention: TDR Forum Junkies My company owns a 2001 2500 CTD automatic 4x4. it has been driven by one of the owners since new. it now has 90,000 miles. since the truck was new, if you put the accelerator to the floor and hold it there, it will not shift out of 1st unless you let off of the gas for a second. then it acts normal. if you dont floor it, it shifts great. the man who has driven the truck never knew of the problem because he doesn't ever get on the truck. i have known about it for the last 2 years.
well now its time to fix it. the owner got a new 600 and his old truck is going to be towing heavy for the rest of its life and the transmission needs to be right. it has had the problem since it was new and nothing has changed. does anyone know of what could be causing this? i would love for it to be something simple but im a little worried. so any help is appreiciated.
