Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) transmission Upgrades

I can't afford both a torque converter and a valve body at the same time. Would I be able to do one now and one a little later this year? Just wondering which one to do first? If both need to be done at the same time looks like I'll need to find a good hiding spot for some extra cash :-laf.

Keep saving and wait to do'em both at the same time. That way you ain't yanking that transmission out of your rig twice.
