transmission Upgrades????

Any body have anything to say about TRANSGO TFOD DIESEL SHIFT KIT. I have yet to do any upgrades on my transmission. Reason I'm asking is that I know that more power means stronger transmission first. Since I dont have the $$ to put in the DTT VB and TC right now I was wondering if there were alternatives to strengthening the transmission like a line lock or the shift kit above which will cost a little less but allow for upgrades. Anybody have any suggestions for me?

What year truck?



I installed one with input from Dave Goerend at Georend Brothers Transmissions. We calibrated it for my truck and use.
