Transmission upshift problem

I have a dodge 2006 3500 2wd drw with 48000 mi. An a banks ottominder 6 tuner with pda. Trans does not want to upshift unless i accel. Slowly. Under harder accel. Rpm's climb to 3000 until i let off a little. Tow/haul or od off selection has no effect. Rebooted tuner and pda. Truck has 2 long trips one to wy. One to fl. Both with truck camper and 14' tagalong. Any help will be appreaciated.

Check for DTCs by turning the key on/off 3 times. It'll show on the dash if there is a transmission message (0700). May be a pressure solenoid on the trans, I had the same problem right before a rebuild.

Governor pressure solenoid not working correctly will cause that. Possibly a problem with the TTVA motor also. If you can't find codes its probably a solenoid\transducer problem.

Yes the P0700 code means the transmission is requiring assistance... .
