Same here. The built auto is just way too much fun.
How? I suppose I need to take a built auto CTD for a spin. BUT, the built autos in other types of cars/trucks are no fun . Even the "paddel shifter" types are boring.
But then again, Is it really the auto? or is driving and shifting to much cordination for you guys to figure out? It is difficult but with practice.....
I mean, not everyone can for example:
1: Break from 100 to 50
2: foot off break
3: down shift to the correct gear, with out locking up or slowing down rear/front/all tires and apply just hte right amount of throttle
4. roll into the throttle as you staighten out the turn again, on the verge of over powering the tries, maintaing traction and exiting near 100 mph (or what ever speed is necessary for this part of the track... )
All this, in a faction of second as you enter and exit a turn mainting the straightest, fastest path though the turn.
Do this, while making a "right" turns as well :-laf
Drag racing a truck that isn't even in the 10's isn't that hard. I can sorta see where a nice auto comes in at the 10 second mark. But for those of you complaining about it in your 15 second truck. ohh I'll stop there.
Anyone experiement with dog-toothing this NV5600? clutch less sifts?
Now that my ConFE is broken in fully, I can now finger shift things around like stock. For a while there my arm was huring after a trip around town.
