I'm a little confused on the transmission issue. I've read the Aisin transmission was the one of choice, now the 48 RFE, or totally electronic controll is coming. Which one is the transmission of choice in the 4500 and 5500 trucks? I almost feel Dodge comes out with something new, and tells us it just what we all have been waiting on. But the one kicker is, you can get it in any color you want, as long as it's white. Buy and options you want, so long as you take it the way we build it. You buy what they produce and like it.

For '07. 5, The C&C get the Aisin trans; otherwise it's the 68 RFE for autos.



The 48 RFE is for the '07 and prior.
