I'm going to correct my last thread. I ask for oil capacity, I meant transmission oil capacity. 2005 6 speed.

Which 6 speed?

G56 or NV5600?

G56: 6 quarts of ATF, thou a 75w-90 GL-4 is a better choice.
NV5600: 5 quarts of Syncromesh, thou +1 quart is common.

Thank You, I believe it is the NV 5600. I was told it is the better one of the two.

Where is reverse?

They are both good transmissions. Lots of fear around the G56, but there are many more of them on the road and more average stock power than the NV5600 ever had. No reason to fear it, but some good reasons to not run the “recommended” ATF.
