I have an '94 2500 with an automatic. The first problem I noticed was that the truck wants to takeoff in 3rd gear and the torque convertor won't lockup in 3rd but will lockup in 4th. Then if it locks up in 4th below 45-50 it shudders horribly. The transmisson is slipping horribly, when I go out to fire the truck up in the morning to goto work or school it wont take off unless I put it down in 1st and even then it still doesn't like it. My big question is do I have an wirirng/electrical problem (why the TC won't kick-in in 3rd and why it takes off in 3rd) or is it all caused from the transmission slipping horribly?
