I came across this article while researching laws on trans porting my fire arms just so i know what i can and cant do. It definitely opened my eyes that I need to make sure things are better protected.

That's a good post. I usually go to the range with my rifles in a soft case and my handguns in a good carry case. Never thought much about the trailer.



We came across a rollover involving a truck with a cabover. My soon-to-be-wife found an uncased handgun in the carnage and we were able to return it to the owner. Others may not be so honest.



Perhaps a good way to do the long guns would be to have a strap or two bolted to the floor or bed and have the straps tight around the cases. I'll have to ponder this one.
