This past week end i tried to put in a trany line with port and ran into some trouble put old line back on and added fluid and brought the truck to the dealer and had the new line put on there. Now the trany seems to be having brain farts. While pulling away from stop signs after turning left it disengages like it was thrown in neutral, or if im moving slow and make a left turn does the same thing. Any idea what it might be. It is going back to the dealer tomorrow after i get a root canal. I sure hope the trany isnt going. Thanks

Try resetting the TPS- Unhook both negative battery cables and clean the terminals- leave unhooked for 30 min to 1hour- reattach cables and turn key to the on position slowly depress and release the accelerator pedal then cut off and crank up- take a test drive to see if that works.

The transmission does not care whether you are turning right or left, this an easy one. We get this question a lot and 99. 9% of the time the guy is low on oil. Eventhough you may have checked it 20 times do it again. Check on both sides of the dipstick , use the low side for your reading . What happens is that as the vehicle is turning the fluid is moving away from the filter.

As Chris said also make sure the check ball is removed from the new line or from the heat exchanger fitting.

Stefan you are right i should have checked that right away wasnt thinking darn tooth hurt so bad. I pulled my dip stick the day i posted this and sure enough VERY low oil. I refilled it and it is good to go now. Also went back and had some words with the dealer. Thanks guys.
