In Issue 108, Stan Gozzi's article on chasing vibrations mentions the Treysit Sirometer, AKA Vibra-Tach. I got thinking about it and remembered I have one stashed in my box along with a bunch of factory tools from my OPE dealer days. I really need to get rid of some stuff
This was a required tool to be a Briggs &Scrapiron dealer, even though everybody had an electronic tach to set idle and governed RPM, etc.
