I am clueless when it comes to electrical workings esp. when it comes to ECM/APPS interaction but I'm wondering about this APPS calibration... disconnect batteries for a time and power back up to put the gas pedal thru full travel. I've done it that way and also spaced out and not done it... and it's probably my imagination but I think it runs better w/o doing anything. Which get's me to thinking in costly ways that, what if you experimented and one time limited travel to 1/2... or some other pt. Firstly, can I do damage to APPS or worse ECM?? Secondly, anything to be gained? What does happen with this APPS/TBS cal? Sorry if this is a old subject but if it is it's pretty buried at TDR.
