tried the capacitor fix on the tps

it didn't work for me. i guess i will try a new tps tomorrow.



does the trans temp sensor give a fault code or dash lite when it goes bad? thanks. scott

Don't think it gives a fault code but you can trick the PCM into thinking the temp is high enough for OD by jumping the sensor connector at the transmission with a 700 ohm resistor. Check all of your electrical connectors at the transmission for corrosion while you're down there. I think you have a wiring problem.
