Viacase

I live in s. michigan. hillsdale county. I don,t know how far you want to travel to buy a truck. There is a dealership in hudson, michigan called CR motors PH# 517-448-2741 ask for Tim,he is part owner. I bought my 2004 ram 2500 5. 9 HO from them. I bet money he can find you a truck. Great people to deal with. Small cow town dealership,no big city hype !! Sales people here do not work on commision basis,coobie;)

Talk to Tomeygun

Viacase I ordered a 04. 5 3500 Quadcab, SLT, 6 speed, long bed single rear wheel with 3. 73s and the no slip diff. So this animal does exist. I ordered it through Tomeygun and for what I was going to pay for a 2500 set up the same way and using DC Friends and Family Discount, I was able to go to a 3500 and added the aluminum wheels for the exact same price :eek: :eek: . I originally order the 2500 back on 10/17 and I was only about 10 days away from taking delivery but then I talked to Tom and got alot more bag for the buck. When it comes in I'm going to rent a car for a one way trip from Cincinnati, OH to St Louis cost about $75. 00, travel time about 5. 5 hours. If your willing to travel to pick it up then talk to Tomeygun he's great to work withe and he will save you some big $$$ . Just my 04. 5 cents :D Keep us posted on your progress Oo. Oo.

I read something about a hold up on 6 speeds. try doing a search or just scroll back a few pages i dont think it was too long ago.

Torque King jay, I am in Cincinnati too, and last week I took my Ram with car trailer attached down to St. Louis to pick up a car My dad bought from a private car collector. Try and take someone with you, its the most boring drive on Gods green earth. i smoked like 4 packs of cigarettes in less then 2 days and I am a pack a day type. But then again you are from pleasent plain, so you are used to the corn fields lol.

Try Wayland Chrysler, off of 131 just south of Grand Rapids. It looks like they have a 3500 SRW like you want. Their website is www.waylandchrysler.com. 269-792-2268, ask for Gene, owner and nice guy. I have been buying from him since 1990, no hassel, & good service (service manager also owner).

You can go to Dodge.com, do a build and price, then do a search for that vehicle. At least you "supposedly" can do that. I do know you can do a vehicle inventory search, dealer by dealer right down to the window sticker level. You can also look up dealers by zip code, then look at their inventory to see if they've got the truck you want. That's the way I found my '03 hemi.

Don't let them give you the run around and settle for something you don't REALLY want. Be patient and order the truck with a 6spd.

Oh, PS: the 555 IS better. :-{}

I just purchased my 04 in January. Wanted one of the 555, QC, LWB, ETH/DEE. Went to my local dealer, none on the lot. They did a search for this truck and found 78 within 300 miles. They had one for me the next day. I think alot of being able to get a vehicle has to do with how willing the dealership is about giving one up. The dealer I use said he trades new ones with this particular dealer and had no problem getting the truck for me. I am willing to bet the locals are wanting you to settle for something less and hope you will purchase from them.
