Tried to update the uconnect on my unit, but nothing happened.

I saw a post here about a week ago with the uconnect link. Checked my vin and a update was needed. I got a thumb drive today and followed the down and upload procedures but the screen on the radio did not give me any prompts.

Does the T/drive have to be in the USB on the dash or will the center console work too?

It showed old software number compared to the upload.

What am I doing wrong?
