Trip Computer/Gauges???

Since the overhead computer is basically worthless, for the most part, has anyone considered its possible use as a gauge/s? I am definately not the one to figure out the specifics about how to do it; however, it seems that one could hook the sensors, ie. EGT, FP, Boost, and have the digital readout on the trip computer, with the ability to toggle from one to another. Am I way off here?

Not a bad idea. Those gauges should be standard equipment with the Cummins - or any diesel for that matter.
