Thanks, TDR Staff

NRA, are they doing a good job?

What is your Truck's name, and why?

We had a great time on the road in the truck. Saw some beautiful states. Lots of trees and that green land once one gets past Oklahoma City. Saw more than a few Dodge trucks. One in OK that was from ??? NC? pulling an old Pontiac on a trailer. the Pontiac was green and from Texas, the Dodge 24v Black, was a flat bed. Did not see that many CTD`s in Tenn. Saw a few in Tx, AZ, and NM. Passed an older gent pulling a 5th wheel with gauges on the pillar. Saw a few CTD`s pulling trailers loaded with cars, trucks, slide in campers and one pulling a trailer loaded with small trailers, either 5th whl or trav trailers. In all we had a great time and the ctd avg 17. 89 mpg. I ran a constant 75mph, when I could. More than once did I find the wife rolling along at 80mph. The ctd just hummed along. Oh and that river, what is it????

Mi??i??ippi. "WOW" the Mississippi is an awesome sight.

Oh yea the bugs in the south "BITE", OW!

We are looking forward to doing this again next year. And will spend more time in the different states.

PS, whats up with 3. 2 beer in;)

Trivia Question

Was the San Joaquin Valley ever officially renamed the Central Valley? Or has usage supplanted the correct name?

I think the term "Central Valley" includes both the Sacramento valley as well as the San Joaquin valley. You'll notice the Sac river flows from the north near Shasta to the SF Bay, and the San Joaquin starts somewhere east of Bakeytown up in the mountains and flows north to the SF Bay.

So the San Joaquin valley is only half of the "Central Valley".

JMHO:)

Baby. driver even on the news Bakersfield and Fresno are called the Central Valley. Just near the central part of the San Joaquin valley.

fortunate1, no I did not tow. I just had the Cummins Hummin.
