Installing BD Short Shift today, and last advice?

ABSOLUTELY and TOTALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



Towed the 5er to TN to get a DTT transmission.



Going

Went through the Saluda gap (8%) on cruise controll at 65. Pre temp never got over 950*, boost went to about 25# a couple of times. Had to be careful on the way down some hills. Couldn't really use the D-Celerator yet. GREAT power though. The KSB1B spools up and the DD2's chime in with the Comp (in 1x1), absolutely perfect. Pleanty of power, but NOT over powered.

Speed controll on, Smart Controller on, D-Celerator on.

Unbelievably smooth. All 3 systems working together. Shooting through the gap, the exhaust brake engages, smart controller keeps the transmission locked, what a totally satisfying feeling when it all works together corectly.



Great transmission temps, great engine temps, PLEANTY of power for the uphill, PLEANTY of retard for the downhill. TOTALLY ESTATIC!



Moved over and let the wife drive. She said "this so easy, I can do here, I can do this anytime"



Left it all engaged for the whole 750 miles home.



In South Carolina on I95 wife had to make a emergency full stop on the interstate. ABS and trailer brakes fully engaged stopped it all straight ahead, as it slowed Smart Controller kept it locked up, D-Celerator went on as soon as she started the braking. A nice safe emergency full stop!



What a WONDERFUL SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



I just had to post this, totally estatic, and you really can put together a system that makes towing fun, safe, pleanty of power, pleanty of stopping.
