Just completed my first trip since installing Westach EGT/Boost, and Fuel Pressure gauges.
These were installed on a totally stock 2001 CTD Quad Cab with just over 16,000 miles on the clock.
Reading were taken while towing a 11,000lb fifth wheel on a long hill with WOT.
Boost never goes above 18psi (if I remember correctly, the wastegate opens at about 18. 3psi on this model).
Fuel Pressure varied between 5-7psi and EGT never exceeded 1100 degrees (probe is installed "pre-turbo"). In fact, the egt rarely goes above 1025 no matter what gear, load or rpm. One of the reasons I put the EGT gauge in was to make sure I wasn't overtemping the engine, but apparently, with the boost limit, this is not a problem.
Don't know if others, with similar a setup, are getting these types of readings, but that's what I got.
NOTE: During this run the boost hose blew off of the back of the Westach gauge. Make sure you cinch it down tight with a tie-wrap (in fact, I used two) so you don't get a surprise under load.
