Adding Air Lift Bags & Compressor/Tank, Need Suggestions

Im going on a trip next month to Jackson Hole Wyoming. Wondered if anyone could suggest a good camping spot there with hookups.

There's a fairly nice KOA at Moran Jct. which is about 30 mi. north of Jackson right at the east end of Grand Teton Natl. Park.

We often stay at the Virginian (motel) CG that is walking distance from downtown.

For non hookups, The Gros Ventre (Nat’t Pk) CG is about 9 mi N/E of Jackson toward the town of Kelly. 350 sites but out of town, large sites and very quite.

Check the Trailer Life directory for others.

I not going to tell you abut the star valley south of Jackson> I wont because my wife ane i are going to move there and dont want anyony to know about it.

COLTER BAY, I THINK THAT IS THE RIGHT NAME. IT IS IN THE TETONS NATIONAL PARK. FULL HOOK UPS EVEN HAS A GROCERY STORE, AND OTHER THINGS TOO. REAL NICE LOVED IT

I second this one, love that place! There's enough there and it's easy to get away from, the Mornings there just flat rock! Head south from Colter bay to the base of the Grand Teton and hike up the trail by it, nice walk!

there is a camp ground just up the road from the Bar- -J i believe it is a KOA also.

while there run over to pinnacle performance exhaust toward dubious Wy. about 25 miles, and have a freer exhaust system installed. you can stay there free if he does work on your truck. full hook ups also, other wise it is rather cheap to stay, is kind of rustic, to say the least.

just my penny's worth.

Coulter Bay RV Park

Yep, I'll vote for this one too. :D We've stayed there many times. Easy to get in and out to visit the rest of the Park.

The KOA camp just west of Jackson is a nice rv park with well landscaped spots but can be a little tight to manuver in some of the sites. If you want a good view of the Grand Tetons stay at Moran Jct. park.

Have they upgraded the KOA at Moran Junction?

The last time I stayed there several years ago, which was late in the season(mid-October) and Coulter Bay RV Park had already closed for the season, it was getting pretty "run down at the heels". They are at a great location(great view of the Tetons) and was a nice park many years ago.

Colter Bay gets my vote too. I was there last year and really enjoyed the stay.

Don't forget the temps, I was at Colter Bay in the first week of July and at 5:00am the Bull Moose woke me up to a scorching 47 degrees and my D. A. was in shorts:D

Thanks for the tip about the temperature, I hadnt even thought of that. The elevation is pretty high there. We're going in mid June. Any idea if it can snow on the road from Yellowstone to Jackson that time of year ?

Let me ask this, I was thinking about going up there again in Late Sept. on my way to Canada, what is the weather like then... . a guess is good enough!
