Triple Dog, '03-'04 and codes???

I've been interested in the Triple Dog ever since I read that it actually does save your original flash before downloading the new programs.



What I have not read much about (after searching tonight) is whether or not there are codes set by the new Triple Dog. I know that there are some issues with the BDDL setting codes with the trucks with the skim key. I don't know what else may go wrong, but would like to know before I buy one.



Does anyone here have experience with an '03 or '04 and the Triple Dog?



Hopefully more good than bad, as I really want one to stack with a TST in the near future.

Everything we have gotten info wise from Bully Dog is that the programs are the same as the Power Pup just in a new fits all trucks software. The programmer does save your original Dodge program and you can reinstall it at any time to go back to stock. We have sold a number of them and so far folks like them.

JCleary, I have the BDDL, and have had 2 friends with the skim keys use it, and messed up their trks. , had to take them to dlr. and have them re-set. I went to BD Days back in Aug. , and had BD flash my DL so it would not do this, but haven't tried it, so I think they have this fixed.

I gotta a new toy getting installed on the 17, I can't wait to see what it does! Keep in touch on the stack and let me know how it goes. I need to do something. I know at least one of my injector bodies is cracked, knowing the box history of this truck my guess is more. We'll see. II flow 3's here I come! Gotta get the 35" duals over the 500 mark!

If you have a grey key, you have a skim key.



It's the security key with a chip in it. With the earlier BDDL's, as soon as you downloaded you'd get a code that the ecm did not recognize the key (I think).



Everything would work, but you'd have this code popping up.



I don't want performance enhancers that generate codes, so I'm waiting for someone with a SO/HO and a skim key to give a review...

The power pup will slip the auto in extreme on my 305/555. EGT's only a couple hundred degrees hotter at WOT, and not much different when driving normal. But the 305 runs cooler than the 325, so I don't know how it would act on the 325. Not much different when driving normal.

I dont have the skim key. But i have run the power pup before when we had one laying around it would realy turn the fuel to it! We will see what the triple dog is like by next week i hope. I will get the outlook when i get the money. They say i can adjust on the fly with the programer if i leave it pluged up. Have to do until i get the outlook.
