Go figure, I have New Balance sneaker on and they say "Made in China".

I quit buying New Balance when I had to buy a new pair every other month. They don't last.

I used to buy New Balance because they had a nice wide toebox for my big feet. As far as I know, they still make some and import some.



FWIW, for the last five years or so, I have only worn leather shoes. Leather fits my life style better and it was getting to the point where I felt sunglasses were a necessary part of sneaker shopping.

So what's the problem with a little patriotism? If you're implying that buying something made in China is unpatriotic i'd have to seriously disagree. I think it's rather foolish to think buying something made in another country is detrimental to our economic security.
