2022 have high idle?

How are the 2022 doing?

A couple times now when starting the truck in my signature it seems like it might be in limp mode. No power no matter where I put the throttle. A shut down and restart usually fixes the issue, only once it took twice. The code it's throwing is P2509.
ECM/PCM Power Input Signal Intermittent.

Thoughts?
Lose or corroded connection or something more sinister.

TIA,
Greg

Going to take some investigating.
As mentioned, check the batteries, easy first thing to do.
Remember, the batteries are interconnected, so at least one needs to be disconnected before load testing.
Then, you will need to check for bad connections, harness worn through grounding out, bad grounds, corroded loose or otherwise.

Batteries were replaced about a year ago. I'll start the crawl looking for chafing and double check the batteries. It spins up just fine.
It sits A LOT but in my air conditioned shop. Only 30,000 miles, 3,330 miles a year, mostly pulling the toy hauler or the rare trip to home depot or the steel/aluminum store.

The quest begins!
Thanks

Do you keep it on a trickle charger when it sits?

I've found my 18 doesn't like sitting, even inside, as much as my 05 did.

I put a Battery Tender (TM) on it yesterday afternoon, this morning it had a green light. I had driven it last week to fill it up so it hadn't been sitting for too long.

I put my 97 4runner desert trail rig on a DieHard battery tender last spring and it seemed to work for the several months it was on, but then when we left this weekend and put it on again it never switched to the "charged" setting even after the battery was completely charged, checked with Fluke multimeter. And in the user manual it states "do not overcharge". So it's apparently NOT a very smart charger. Trying a little Noco Genius on my tractor battery. Maybe that one will be better (smarter). OTOH, for years I have used the cheap, crappy, Chinese made Harbor Freight battery tenders on all the tractors and mowers and never had one fail me yet. Are those "trickle chargers"? I don't know, need to research those and find out. I hate buying Chinese stuff but 100% sure my Die Hard is Chinese made, not sure about Noco brand.

Put a program able timer between charger and wall connector to switch the charter on once a month for 24h.
That's the Best you can do for maintaining a battery for an extenden period of time.

I put the tender on and didn't do anything else (color me a dummy). This morning I decided to check some more things and low and behold, when I flipped the insulating cover back this is what I found. It appears to be long enough to go to the positive terminal (this is on the drivers side). I've put an VOM on it and it's not to ground and with the ignition on I get no readings both ohms to ground or voltage. Can someone identify which terminal this goes to? It's probably been disconnected for a while!

EDIT: Never mind... Traced it to my Camper hookup. It's the ground to the camper plug in the box of the truck. Mystery solved and false alarm. I DID find the positive post on one battery a little (ok, a lot) lose. We'll see if the problem persists.

OK, back in the desert and got a new AGM battery for the 4runner. I got an AGM charger that I want to run once a month after we leave again. Having a HELL of a time finding a charger that can be set to come on once every 30 days. No wifi network here either.

Not aware of any 30 day timers, but plenty of 7 day timers out there. Why not do a 1 hour charge every 7 days?
