Good to see the forum is back. I've been looking for a trouble code reader/scanner for the Dodge Diesel that I can afford. I have a catalog that has the Auto Xray EZ-LINK PRO-PACK listed for $315. Most places have it listed for $449. Does anyone know for sure that Dodge follows the OBD-II format in the Diesel trouble codes? Also does anyone have any experience with the device? I would appreciate any advice or comments.
Thanks, Don

Don,
Yes,Dodge does follow the OBD-II format in the diesels. I work at a Honda dealer and I can use the Honda scan-tool to pull up trouble codes,no problem. Sorry to say though,I have no experience with the Auto Xray.

does anyone know if a trouble code reader adaptor is forthcoming as an attachment for the Palm? seems logical, doesn't it?

That is an excellent price on the Pro-Pak. I have one and have been satisfied with it. It will read and reset DTC's but that is all the info you can get from the 12V PCM. I was hoping to be able to access other sensor info. I have have talked to Auto X-ray and they might offer an upgrade in the future. If you get one, be sure to contact them and let them know you want this also. It seems the decision is based on demand.
