Got this code just a little bit ago. U0001. Looked it up and it shows to mean- high speed CAN comm bus. Anyone have any clue to what that means. It also had code U0121- lost communication with anti braking module. Any input appreciated.

I just thought I would add this. This morning the etc light came on either when I engaged the high idle or there after wasn't watching that close. Checked codes and along with previous listed I had P061A=etc level 2 torque performance. After a good bit of reading this morning it seems that can happen with the high idle. Again any input appreciated.

Several months ago I had the same problem a couple of times with the ETC light, it would come on when I set the high idle when it was pretty cold out. Now what I do is hold the throttle down a bit up to about 1,000 rpm then turn the high idle on... it hasn't come on since I started doing that. I suppose it could be a coincidence but it has worked.

Don't know if this will help, but it may be worth a try. Yesterday at work (I'm a firefighter... I had a little bit of down time on a sunday afternoon) I installed a brakesmart brake controller. After the install I started the truck. The MIL light came on and stayed on. I didn't have any codes on the display. I cycled the truck on and off a couple of times, but it remained on. Drove the truck home this morning (because it's on the way to the dealer) and emptied all my stuff out to go to the dealer. Got my spare key, started the truck and the light went out. According to the manual, I may have been having big problems. But the spare key fixed them all. I know it sounds weird, but that was the easiest and cheapest fix that I ever came across.

Just an update. The etc light went off after the next start. No cel, truck runs fine. I have 30,000 miles on truck. Any thing I need to have the dealer look at in the next month or two. I drive about 3000 miles a month.
