trouble code #

Any body know what code P1693 is?This code came up on a friends Snap On scanner but it won't tell us what it means. Thanks, Rick

That code has came up before in this forum. Doesn't really mean anything and it surely doesn't hurt anything either. Even the manual doesn't go into detail. Just cycle the key a couple of times and the check light will go out if it has not already done so. Not much info/help just IMHO.
