A few days ago my truck threw a check engine light and the following codes - P0300, P0303, and P0305. I checked and confirmed it was multiple cylinder misfire and that it was cylinder 3 and 5. The check engine light disappeared and has not returned. I have never had those codes put up and was concerened if there was a potential problem(s) coming.

At the time I threw the code I had exited the freeway for a break. The truck felt a little sluggish but I was closer to my destination than I was home. I was camping and parked the truck for a day and when i restarted it the light went away.

I will check for water in the fuel. The one thing that i did not mention is that I had added some Valvoline diesel treatment during my fill up. since the initial symptoms/trouble codes appeared I have run two tankfuls of diesel. hopefully it was just a bad batch. thanks for the reply
