Trouble posting digital pic for avatar

I'm having trouble posting a pic from a digital camera for my avatar, or can it be done?

Any ideas?I'm fairly new to this pc thing.

Juice'd... you should have received some sort of graphics software with the camera. Using the software, resize the pic. to 50X50 pixels and then give it a try.

Thanks Scott, it's the 50by50 thats got me scewed up.

The inst are not the best for a novice.
