I am having some trouble with the website. Each time I change a page, or try to reply to a thread, I am required to load my username/password again. What can I do to prevent this from happening?
If you are using Microsoft's Internet Explorer, you can try:
Step 1: Set up the TDR as a "trusted site" by:
1. Click: Tools
2. Click: Internet Options
3. Click: Security
4. Select: Trusted Sites
5. Click: Sites
6. De-select: Require server verification for all site in this zone
7. Type in: https://www.turbodieselregister.com (within the text block labeled, "Add this web site to the zone")
8. Click: OK
9. Click: OK
Step 2: Allow your PC to accept cookies by:
1. Click: Tools
2. Click: Internet Options
3. Click: Privacy
4. Click: Edit (lower part of dialog box - look for "to override cookie handling for individual websites, click the edit button")
5. Type in "turbodieselregister.com"
6. Click "allow"
7. Click: OK
8. Click: OK
Second, you could have a corrupted cookie on your machine causing the problem. Pull down your tools menu to internet options and then click on "Delete Cookies". Then try logging back in.
In addition, you could have internet security software on your PC such as Norton Internet Security, Mcafee Security Suite, Zonealarm, etc which could be restricting cookies. If you have any software such as this and are having troubles try disabling it temporarily to see if the issue goes away.
If you are still having trouble email us at webmaster@turbodieselregister.com and we will try to help.
