I was wonder if anyone who has a F. M. S has had trouble pulling with it. I have always had low boost #'s during pulling but did not know why till now. Last night at a pull I just watched my box the whole way down the track and I noticed when the tires broke lose I stopped making boost and the box stopped fueling because it waits for boost to fuel. The whole way down the track I only made 20 pounds of boost and fueling only went 17% of the 63% its capable of. On the street it works great. Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks

I know when you have is set up on street mode it will wait until you see some boost I don't know the amount before it starts to fuel but if it is on drag race mode it will add the % you have it set at all at once and it won't defuel at a set degree so make sure you have it in drag race mode before you pull or race you should notice a big difference in smoke output hope some of this helps Aaron

I always have it on drag race, but maybe it is not working. I will try turn it to street mode and then to drag race to see if there is a different's

Are you running another box of any sort other than the FMS?

Reason I ask is that you may have the boostfooler interfereing with the operation of the FMS. Let me know if that helps.

Or give me a call and I'll talk to you more about it.

No I don't have a boost fooler it has one built in,but Blue Chip did tell me what was happening. From what I was told the FMS gets it's signal from the vp44 and when the rpm's increase more than 800 rev's per second the ecm tells the vp44 to cut back fuel to save the motor which in turn tells the FMS to cut back. I have not went to the dirt to try to test this yet. So I guess they only two ways to fix my trouble is to add weight to the truck and use more aggressive tires to get more traction or to buy an Edge drag Comp. Unless someone else has a solution for me.
