Turbo Vane

I was getting ready to take out my turbo silencer ring and was inspecting the vanes. I notices that one of them seemed to be 'scratched' a little. Not like a gouge so much but like a different coloration of the metal.



I have 32000 miles and this is the first time I have looked at it.

Any comments or suggestions.

It seems to run fine.

Noticed the same

Did my 1st oil change last weekend and noticed the same. I press on it and it felt the same as the others. SO I said just a Holset deal. Any one know for sure?

It is a mark that is used for the balancing of the wheel.
